I told my girlfriend I would make her a nice dinner, but when I asked her what to make she just said anything.

If the ladies could tell me what their favorite homemade meals are, no matter how difficult to prepare, it would help alot. Thanks.

the easiest thing for you to cook would be spaghetti. and buy a loaf of fresh french or italian bread from the grocery store bakery.
by the way, i think it's really sweet that you are doing this, and i laughed when i read "she just said make anything." obviously you were expecting a request. cute. hope it goes well.

1. Salad
2. Good steak, baked potato, and steamed broccoli.
3. Brownies with vanilla icecream and raspberry sauce

Rasberry sauce
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
16 oz frozen raspberries
1 tablespoon cornstarch
combine in a sauce pan and heat over medium heat stiring very frequently until thickend and clear (just boiling)

What does SHE like?! That's what's important! But don't be too courageous - something simple, set the table, candles, cloth napkins - I'm sure if you even fed her hot dogs she'd love that you put out all the effort. It's the little things that count.

It depends on her tastes. For example, if she was vegetarian, you wouldn't cook with meat or poultry.

But if she isn't, just cook things she likes to eat that are simple. Don't stress yourself out on this. If she loves you, she won't care what you cook, but how much effort you put into it! :)

you could make lasagne( ilove that) or a steak and salad... or a quish..or smoked salmon with a tomatoe bisque and dipping crakers and a chocoalte fondue for dessert
