Just like in real life, the probability is 50/50 chances. I’ve done online dating, it takes time and a lot of patience to go through the frogs. Be careful if you decide to pursue this avenue… ALWAYS, ALWAYS trust your gut instincts!!

Online you can be who you wanna be, you can be fraudulent, you can be this big time banker or investor, or you can just be you! I believe in online romance, but you have to be very discreet as to who you let in your world. Ask all the right questions, take note of any awkward behavior, check for clues, be a detective when meeting people online! Don't be naive, don't be stupid, and don't be too open!

No, because when you're online you can be anything or anyone you want to be. There's no reality, no way to judge character, or to build intimacy. People who spend their lives in front of the computer do so to avoid living life, thinking fantasy has fewer risks...When in truth it has a harsh reality.

well, it depends. if it is a safe site [eharmony, match.com, etc.] then yes. but if it is myspace, facebook, stardoll, or any other site, then absolutely not. the person might be a rapist, or 40 year old man or woman looking to do it. hope this helps =]
