Not that I've ever seen. My grandmother makes tofu at home and animal fat is never an ingredient. However, tofu is not fat free. It's just that the fat isn't animal fat.

Nah they're just trying to freak out vegetarians!! OK it doesn't have animal fat, but it DOES have plaster of paris!! TRUE!!!
