Like Silvia C said Eye Of The tiger is good but you can also try looking in the Mortal Combat Soundtrack you might find something you like there depending on what you are doing. Some of the Old 1970's music is good but like you said everyone was Kung Fu fighting is kind of worn out for show maybe just for listening but personaly, thats it.

Hmm maybe that song from rocky balboa-eye of the tiger. Some thing up beat and that has a good rythm. My brother (Martial arts co owner) and the other instructors are going to do a belt ceramony this friday night for his younger (ages 3-14). Theres gonna be 85 students and all of their families and friends etc.. so they have to come up with something almost everyone will get into... his students students and their instructors will be choosing the trans cyberian orchastra cause its near christmas and all.

It actually depends on what martial art you're gonna do it for. I, for example love to play Tristania or Nightwish when I'm punching away on a heavy bag.
Martial arts that require simple movements like boxing/kickboxing are great with Loud Metal/Goth/Power Metal ryhthms...
As for most oriental martial arts, I wouldn't know...
