In the Philippines, to be a nedical doctor, you need to complete successfully the 4-year MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL program, fourth year of which is a full clinical clerkship. Some schools may require 5 years to graduate as they will give the DIPLOMA only after the INTERNSHIP training.
The Philippine curriculum is similar to American curriculum but the academic disciplines are INTEGRATED. The total number of hours of CLINICAL experience is lesser as compared to the US Schools. For the details of disciplines included in ACADEMIC curriculum, check out this link:

Not to forget to mention that pre-medical admission requires completion of a 4-year BACHELOR'S DEGREE such as B.S. Biology, B.S. Psychology, B.S.Medical Technology, B.S.Pharmacy, B.S.Nursing, B.S. Chemistry, B.S.Physical Therapy,etc.
Also, obtaining the required pass mark of medical school admission test called NMAT is required. Sometimes, other schools may not neccesarily require such test result.
Depending on whether you are a FILIPINO or a FOREIGNER, other requirements may differ. However, the curriculum will be the same for all. Heavy academic loads must be expected.
