are you still required/committed to serve in the military?

i'd assume they'd still make you serve even if they didn't give you your number one choice of career. they did pay for college after all. go check their website to double check

Of course you are.

Only a small percentage of those who apply, get selected for flight school.

Thats why AFROTC requires you to get certain degrees.

So you can still serve, if not selected for flight school.

Now your active duty committment will be shorter if your not selected for flight school.

But you have a service committment from the time you are accepted into advanced ROTC.

That is before you even apply for flight school.

yes. as long as you accept money/contract with them, you are Obligated to serve a minimum of 5 years .
