They wouldn't have accepted Christianity in the first place if Jesus was Black and yes I think lots of Christians will leave Christianity.

He was Jewish and that is a fact. Black, white or coloured does not matter here, what really matters is that He is the Son of God. Race doesn't and colour of skin does not change anything, I believe in Christ and God.
Quote: "Black cat or white cat does not matter - as long as the cat knows how to catch athe mouse!". Similarly, whatever the colour Christ is, doesn't matter, what matters is that He is who He says He is, the Son of God, and that His teachings and His life measures up.
Btw, i'm yellow!

Well Christ is certainly not white but most likely of middle eastern characteristics, and dark skin tone.....in any case race should not be an issue, but that Christ died for our sins.

Well, your request for "honest answers only" would lead me to believe that you would in fact leave if Christ was Black. Are you prepared to be honest not only to us, but yourself as well?

I hate to be the one bringing this to you--but the particular Jewish lineage Christ came from were very dark skinned--far closer to black than white. And I would not care if He were purple.

I'm an equal opportinities kind of guy when it comes to fictional characters.
I think a more pertinent question would be:
"Would you leave Christianity if you found out that Jesus was gay?"
See how they implode in a puff of cognitive dissonance.

Jesus is God incarnated as man. He had body on earth to manifest God's love for us to see. So, the focus in Jesus' incarnation of the Word through the behaviour and words, etc. using the visible body. The body is only an instrument for God to use showing us His immense love for us. SO, does it make any difference what color He is?

Of course not. What Christ looked like during His earthly incarnation is irrelevant. It's what He taught, and what He did, that matters.
