buddhists do not search for god, only enlightenment, so no, they do not love Jesus the Messenger of God nor do they believe him to be the promised Messiah from God

No, I guess ALL buddhists do not believe in a supreme god in the first place, not to mention a messenger or messiah for that supreme god.

I try to extend feelings of love to all beings, so if Jesus existed, I love him. I don't believe in the Christian God, so I don't believe Jesus, if he existed, was either the messenger or messiah of God.

Buddhists do not believe in any promise from God but they accept Jesus as an enlightened person of His time, a rare personification of divine principles.

No. There is no god. Because there is no god, there is no messenger or messiah.
The First Noble Truth is clear that everything changes. God, by definition, is immutable. If a god did exist, then it would be imperfect because it would change over time. Hence, god as such does not exist.
The Third Noble Truth is clear that a person's "salvation" or freedom from suffering comes from a person's own understanding, not from anything external.
I believe these Truths because I can test them with my own experience. Gods and their messengers, like everything else religious, are conjecture, untestable, and do not affect me.

Buddhists do not believe in a single God as Christians do, nor do they accept the Christian concept of salvation.
That's like asking Christians whether they believe in the saving power of the Amida Buddha. It's nonsense.

Christian: do you chant nam myoho renge kyo in front of the Gohonzon every morning and evening? Do you faithfully read the Gosho? Do you understand the tenents of Buddhism? Do you even know who Nichiren Daishonen is?
I have doubts, then, that you are a particularly holy person. Pffft.

Bodhisattva view all sentient beings as one suffering in reincarnation, unenlightened, and needed to be guided towards liberation. Through great compassion, a Bodhisattva loves Jesus as much as he loves other sentient beings.
