Of course not.

There is historical written documentation (other than the bible) that a man named Jesus existed and caused problems with the Roman government.

But to believe he is the Messenger of God, or the promised Messiah, would be to believe the bible and in god, and atheists don't.

When Atheists do not believe in God, how can they entertain any promise from a non-existent one; and the rest are irrelevant to them.

As an agnostic, I don't see why I can love someone that is dead, and has minimal archaeological proof that he ever existed.

And there's nil evidence from a reliable source that he's divine. Followers of tons of religions claim some figures are holy and their books are 100% right.

Would you love someone else's spiritual figure if their book said to do so?
