OK... from what I've heard, "faith" is believing in something without proof. Because you have a "feeling" that it's true. So as pretty much as a long as you just really, really, really "feel" something is true, or exists (despite the lack of evidence), that's faith. Wow... what a bunch of bull. How could anybody truly believe that? Don't Muslims say they have the same feelings or Buddhists, etc. What makes you think your feeling is so much different from theirs? Please correct me here, I must be missing something. And no Bible verses please.

Faith is certainly things which are hoped for but not seen, yet that does not mean there is not evidence that comes with faith; however, you do not receive a witness until you show faith. As you act in faith, you do receive a witness if it is true. Try it.

Faith and religion are two different, however sometimes misleadingly entwined concepts.
Faith is a higher form of trust, not a belief in a higher power.
Religion needs faith. Faith does not need religion.
i have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow morning due to the earth spinning on her axis and rotating around the sun. not because some higher power says it will
saying "i have faith in you" to someone doesn't mean that you worship them. otherwise a lot of people would be blasphemous.
religion needs it followers to solely rely on its teachings, else it loses all power and is no longer effective for controlling the masses. so blind faith is what is preached to the followers, to not question the church (no matter how many things that were "not to be questioned" in the past X-hundred years by religious has been proven false) but to "faithfully" follow the teachings.
and before i get some atheist comments, I'll say this: I'm not for getting rid of religion. i respect your decision to be religious. its my choice to not be.
if i had more time, i'd go into greater details, but sadly, i do not. please dont assume anything from me not having more time to complete my thoughts.

Ahhh! You're using one of President Bushes old tricks.
Present a fallacy as fact and then argue the fallacy!
Faith is a feeling but it also is knowledge.
Feelings come and go, look at American divorce rate, and even though knowledge gets challenged, the truth of the knowledge is solid.(For instance the sky will always be blue on a sunny day.)
I don't compare my faith to anyone else. That's why it's my faith. All I know is that in the final call it's The Creator that's going to make the decision as to who will live in a paradise Earth, and I pray it's in my favor.
Faith is a lot deeper than your description but, it's obvious that you really don't want an answer because you restrict my ability to answer.

Personally I believe because of personal inspiration from the word of God.And I cant make you believe anymore than you can make me disbelieve. But I wish you could. Not to prove a point but because I care about mankind.About other people regardless of their faith.Or lack of it.God has been a personal friend to me.Hes not a myth or idea or something someone made up who was afraid to die.If there was no God there would be no need for faith.Nothing to avoid no reason to be moral or honest or not to steal etc.

I believe in God because He has proven himself to me. I believe in the evidence how He has cared for me. I believe in Him because it is more logical to believe that God exists than to believe that this whole universe is here by some chance accident. The odds of the big bang producing all that you see are huge. It takes more blind faith to believe that there is no God than I could ever possibly have.
I do not always "feel" God.
By the way, if you are so sure there is no God, or that we Christians are wrong, why are you so angry and antagonistic?

Why do you call yourself Apostle, to me you sound like a false Apostle becuase a real Apostle would not need to ask the question. Apostle is someone who is sent by God. Called to Spread the news Of Jesus Christ. Faith is not a thing in the bible book of hebrew 11 it says Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, and in James he Challenges you to show him your faith, while he shows his faith by then works that he does. Faith without works is dead faith. Jesus cant work in a faithless body. So you cant be called of God unless you have faith in him. he is not seen but we know that he is there and that he was bruised for our transgressions and wounded for our iniquity if you believe this that is called faith. But also Faith speaks to others about the faith that they have in Jesus Christ and what he did for you.

I understand how this could be confusing for someone that does not believe...actually i didn't believe for a VERY long time...
But then I had a major life event...I got into a car accident that I should have died in. Anyway...to make a long story short...God showed himself to me by allowing me to live. Unless you have a personal experience, sometimes it is really hard to believe...
I have to tell you...Life didn't make sense to me before I became a christian...i was always questioning everything in life...But Christianity has given me so many answers...That may be hard for most to understand..
~~Questioning everything in life is a form of insanity..

I can't see how there is any reasonable way that one could answer your question. You have made assumptions, called it bull (actually your assumption is what you called bull) and then on top of that you are trying to eliminate the basis of our faith. Honestly, this question is far to sarcastic and assumptive for me and doesn't contain any level of genuine, inquisitive interest.

No, we are not asking you to believe in God by faith alone. I originally came to receive Christ because I did not want to go to Hell, even though I did not believe in God. By Confessing my sins and asking God to forgive me and to come into my heart, I gave God the authority to come into my life. After that, I continued to live in my sin because I was still an Atheist. Then, Science proved to me that evolution was false. I went through a lot of bad times because of the wrong choices I made. God would answer my prayers when everything else was hopeless, but because I continued in my sins, it seemed as if He would go away. After 20 years, I came across some Pentecostals and I received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. My whole life changed! God set me free from all of my adictions and He began to talk to me. Now I have no doubt that God exists and that He is the God of the Bible. The only time that I need faith is when things get hard. All I have to do, is remember how God manifested Himself unto me and how things would always turn out for my good after God filled me with His Holy Spirit. Now I enjoy my relationship with God and I bask in His favor and His love. You can too! If you will turn from your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord. Then He will manifest Himself unto you!

It is something we know to be true. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it is shown to you. It is hard to explain to someone with a closed mind. My question is, why does it bother you so? It is an overwhelming feeling of love that is unexplainable. Open your mind and heart a little. You are missing alot, as was I once in my life. Now I know the way, and it feels unbelievable. If you choose not to believe, that is your right, but please don't bash us for it.
