Hi, I've asked a lot of questions about how to play a movie from the computer to the DVD player. One guy recommended for me to use DVD flick to burn the movies into a dvd+R then try playing it in the DVD player. The problem is when I finish burning it with DVD flick then I put the dvd+R into the DVD player it tells me unknown disk.
What can I do about this problem please help me, thank you.

does your dvd player support dvd+r?

A lot of players don't. Or only support dvd-r. It might just depend on your dvd players compatability.

Or i could just be something else.

Are you sure you're burning it correctly? Are you burn from DVD to DVD or are you ripping the DVD and then trying to burn it? Make sure you have the correct format and folder. Folder should be Video_TS and Audio_TS. You can use Burn with Image Tool or Nero to burn DVD. Burn DVD is simple yet complicated. You have to know a few things. Can you DVD player play burn dvd? Does it play +R or -R? Please explain a little more detail on what you're trying to do? And what you're currently doing and maybe I can help you.

Added notes:

Like I said, what format are the downloaded files? Are they already in DVD format or in .AVI, MPEG?

make sure your disk is formatted when you first put it in and when you are finished burning you have to CLOSE THE SESSION, (right click.) this enables it to be played.
