I'm not of that faith, but want to respect the observance of this holiday as I would like to have the same courtesy extended to me on my Christian holidays. These calls are for renewal of a service and not telemarketing per se.

yes, it's ok for Jews to conduct business during Chanukah. If you know for sure that the person is Jewish, say happy Chanukah- otherwise, I suggest "Happy Holidays"

There are 2 sorts of Menorah's the Hanukah Menorah has 9 branches and is only use for the duration of Hanukkah, The Temple Menorah has 7 branches and is used n the classic Tabernacle in the barren area and Temple in Jerusalem, an emblem of Judaism considering the fact that historical situations and the emblem of the widespread state of Israel.

Yes, it is perfectally ok to make business calls during Hanukkah. It will not offend anyone.

You may want to end your conversation with "Have a great holiday."

Just don't call on Shabbat, but the phone is disconnected anyway than.
