Nizoral works great, is available without a prescription, and isn't very expensive.
I had dandruff pretty badly a few years ago (after not washing my hair enough) and I cured it with Nizoral shampoo from the drugstore. It costs about $12 for a bottle that will last a month. The medication kills the stuff that lives on the scalp and makes the skin flake off, but you have to use the shampoo for a whole month or so to do the job thoroughly. Then you can go back to regular shampoo.

Try washing your scalp with a mixture of vinegar and water (3 parts water to 1 part vinegar). It'll work wonders. Do this about twice a week. When you feel that there is less dandruff, do it about once a week. Hope this helps!

I have extremely dry scalp because I use a lot of hair products that are drying. I use head and shoulders daily and t-gel twice a week. That works well for me.Also in the ethnic hair dept. there is a product Ive used in the past(if they still make it) called 911. It was a blue bottle with pink top. Its a leave in conditioner and works great. If those dont help she may need to see a dermatologist.

If she gets lice it actually helps believe it or not but i have long hair and it happens a lot so What I do is just put body lotion that has aloe in it.And it kills dandruff cause dandruff his just dry skin.So leave it in your hair about 5 min. then rinse it out and you should be fine for a school day then do it again. Or ask a hair salonist

There is a new shampoo you get at the beauty saloon, it is called REDKEN scalp relief , it does work, it cured my problem, also I was told that alot of the problem with dry scalp is because you do not get all the shampoo out of your hair and off your scalp, the more hair you have the more you TEND to have problems, I started double rinsing and am cured.
