You can make a video of your powerpoint pressentation.

I needed to give a presentation but knew that I would not have access to a laptop at the costumers site.

I then made myself a video of the presentation, then burnt it onto a DVD for playback as a DVD movie.

I used the pause/play to button on the DVD player remote to move from slide to slide.

Save your powerpoint to your documents. Insert a blank cd/dvd.
Once inserted a command screen should pop up. Click burn cd. You should be able to click and drag your powerpoint into an empty folder. Once that is done click burn.
If a command screen doesn't pop up go to my computer. Click the picture of the cd and go through the steps that way. Hope this helps!

why burn to DVD? Just save to a CD... less costly and still plays on a DVD player.

uhhh, like so you can play it on a DVD player? If that's what you mean, there is no way of doing it unless you want to spend over 100 bucks on software.
