I was told when I was little that my twin sister died at birth, and I was the only one who made it. As it turns out, she was exchanged for a dead baby by a couple who wanted a child. Then, when I was in 7th grade, I met her. Now, I didn't know at that time that she was my twin. But we felt like there was a strong bond between us. Like I knew she was "half of my soul." Can you guys explain that? I mean we just felt kinda warm toward each other. Like we've known each other since our childhood? I had that feeling--the link, the connection--but I still didn't know she was my twin sister.

PS
Turns out, the couple's conscience couldn't shut up for years since then, and she was asking why she bore no resemblance to any member of the family. So, as hard as it was for them to say goodbye to her, they explained the whole thing to her, and traced us. They told us too. Till then, we had no idea.

hi.. twins have an unspoken bond... it's a magical thing about the nature of multiple births.

i saw a TV show were twins were separated at birth and met later... that had so many similarities, it was uncanny! I remember one set of male twins who reunited, and found they both had moustaches, about the same hair cut, drove the same type of cars and had similar careers... is that interesting?

i wish you and your sister all the best! take care.

Yeah, she is your family member - and your twin sister - you have a lot of the same chemical compositions due to being twins. You were responding to scents, smell and pheramones you weren't even aware of.

Call it karma if you will. I guess in a way it's like our own personal connection with our own little sector of the twilight zone.
