Well, first of all the miracles you could choose you picked the one that was done in private! No one saw this save the Disciples in the boat. Furthermore only two people have ever walked on water. More have walked through a river on dry ground.

Miracles were not to prove a point but rather to accent a point. I will not say they are over with, but many miracles are a private affair or simple do not happen. Sure, it could be a lack of faith, but even good examples in History have been chalked up to freak accidents or misunderstandings.

Person becomes cancer free = bad x-ray.
Person heals better than anticipated = quick healer
Washington never being hit in a battle = luck
Crossing the English channel to save Allied forces = freak weather

No one can do anything apart from God. We do not get to pick an choose when we do anything. Even though Moses was not Christian look at what happened to him.

Say what? All you "I'm not God/Jesus" wafflers out there better go check your bibles. The passage in John is clear:

"I tell you the truth. The person that believes in me will do the same things I have done. Yes! He will do even greater things than I have done. Why? Because I am going to the Father. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it."
(John 14: 12-14)

*Note* well I know that...what I meant is, people have been performing the same types of miracles as Jesus did since ancient times. Masters are one with everything and have been resurrecting long before Jesus came ever around. There are very few enlightened ones in the world, there are even fewer masters.

Now you are starting to get it right...

The question should be: when will a buddhist or member from any other religion walk on water to show the Christians wrong?

We have and we've been doing all sorts of other miracles. But do you think that today's media will show it? I don't think so. Everyday God comes to us men under the guise of bread and wine so that we can receive Him into our very selves. That's as big a miracle as you can get, if you ask me. Go to a Catholic Mass and ask the priest what the true meaning of the verse you quoted is.

Can an atheist prove there is no God? No.

5 billion idiots, not one is smart enough to look around and see that all of this beautiful creation came from somewhere besides out of no where. That reminds me, if athiests claim to have no god and don't believe in anything.... what are they doing in the religion and spirituality section? Just to taunt Christians?

We are already walking on the water of the Word and standing on the promises of God. Only those in Christ will understand what this means. Pray that you will not be numbered among the scoffers and the naysayers, for the Lord is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance.

Mike, Jesus is the 2nd part of the God triune. there is God the daddy, God the Son and God the Spirit. lots of what all of us recognize approximately Jesus is his volunteering to come lower back down and be a human so he ought to deliver redemption. That became into even planned in the previous the commencing up of the earth(universe). you recognize so little approximately God, so i could suspect you have little peace on your inward guy or self. Why no longer make Jesus the Prince of Peace of your existence, turning to him fairly this working faraway from him with excuses and go applications. i recognize he's God for he lives interior me.

None are fat enough to have BALLOON feet. Must have been all the wine the originators of this story had one day which had them floating on water.

Everyone wants a sign. They just need to believe. Remember the Isrealites? They were never happy they wanted more.

Oh ye of a little mind!

Can you walk on water? So, why do you think Christians can?
Christians aren't Jesus.
You are talking nonsense. Be for real with your questions and don't waste anyone's time!
