none of them, believe what makes you feel most comfortable and happy with your life. instead of being ignorantly taught what you're supposed to believe in. why live your life around another person's standards? it restricts you from comfortably imagining and seeking and THINKING. i think of god as a personification of something that connects all people. but i don't literally believe in god, and any stories in the bible. i take them all as examples of basic morals. i like simplicity, i don't think there's any need for actually believing in metaphors and personifications. how absurd do you find that?

Well, as atheism is only united by disbelief in theism, it's hard to narrow that down. I know many atheists. The only problem I have with the ones I know is the fact that they tease me for my belief in my "invisible sky friend." I don't think they should tease. But that's only in my circle of people I know. I can't say that about all of them.

Hey you know, i had a pile of iron in my backyard! Its been there WAY before i was born! But suddenly and slowly, it started to deform and form and do some crazy things, but after a long time, it finally turned into an airplane! Wow, is that absurd? Its evolution though!

I hope you are not Christian GWLECH. Your avatar makes me think you are too nice and smart of a man to believe in that B.S.
The question should be: what part of the bible do you think is the most absurd?

The concept that an argument whose concluding answers are based upon two entirely differing premises can be successfully resolved. That goes for both sides.

What could possibly be absurd about not happening to believe in one group's particular invisible, intangible, inaudible, yet omnipotent and omniscient God?

The big bang/evolution. As if something so amazingly complex as the universe could just "appear" from nowhere.
