No, it's an awful idea, but it's what we are headed for.....the European Union is the start. There are those who would like the United States, Canada and South America to unite just like Europe. And then the eventual uniting of the whole world. All power would be taken from individual countries, not to mention individual states. We would be helpless! Individuals would have no rights. It's all about Big Brother (remember the book/movie 1984?)

I don't believe in the traditional New World Order thing. That just sounds a little absurd and power hungry. I do think that the world would be pretty cool though if all nations decided to become one. Oh and don't listen to that freakin retarded idiot Paul the Bullfighter. God that guy is so godly retarded. I really hate that guy.

I do not believe this is a good idea, at all. It sounds good but it leaves us all vulnerable to the ones in power. Can you imagine if Hitler was able to take over the world government and not just the Weimar Republic? Or Stalin?

Upsides: Everyone is a part of one global community. No more killing over borders, etc...of course, people will still kill each other over religion.
Also, travel anywhere within your own political state...because it's all one big state. One currency, one government, one set of laws, etc...
Downsides: It'd better be a democratically elected government with a constitution that ensures certain human rights.

One world Government is not a good idea because the countries have different cultural statistics that would differ from third world countries.

Globalism is just a new word for slavery. This time the masters got smart and realized they could pay pennies in order for not having to house and feed the slaves. See China and US trade.
