We share the whole world with death and darkness.
Jesus is the light of the world, but satan is 'to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience' Ephesians 2:2 for now.

This community was put here for everyone, not just Christians...if you want a group for just Christians go and start one. We are not death and darkness, we are light and hope and we are every shade of the rainbow and every spirituality under the sun. We all have a right to speak our views, its called freedom of speech. Take your hate and bigotry elsewhere , consider yourself reported .

I'm a Christian, and I find the assumption that R&S should be a "Good Old Christian Boys Club" to be very annoying. Religion and Spirituality covers a large range of subjects, of which Christianity is only one subset.

I hate to say this, bro, but with the holier-than-thou 'tude some folks have, it's no wonder that people don't want to hear what we have to say about Jesus. If someone told me that I was just "death and darkness," I doubt I'd stick around to listen to the Gospel presentation, either.

More people have been loved into the Kingdom of God than browbeaten into it.

I think you're asking the wrong question and coming at things from the wrong perspective. Christ made a habit of hanging out with people the religion of his day had rejected. Christ regarded the light within him as stronger than anything around him and did not think it needed protection from the "death and darkness." Rather than trying to protect our "holiness" by shutting out "death and darkness" we should seek to spread the light as Christ did. Unless you do not think the holiness is stronger than the darkness.

Oh for Pete's sake...

You really are a troll aren't you? Look if you want a Christian discussion site there are plenty of those on the Internet, and you won't find me hanging around, or anyone else who qualifies as a proper non-believer (ie someone who's given it some thought).

People die all the time so you share the world with death. Darkness occurs when the light is gone which is also a natural occurence.

This forum is open to all who choose to obey its rules.

This specific forum is for the discussion of Religion and Spirituality. Christianity is just one small facet of this topic. There are countless other religions and spiritual beliefs.

In short, you don't have to share it. No one is forcing you to stay here. And I'm definitely not leaving. It's up to you.

Does the darkness frighten you? Or can't you find the light switch that comes from doubt? Must you accept the nonsense of revelation to the superior, if harder, effort to think for yourself? Or is that just beyond you?
