I'm kind of falling for an older coworker. She's 25 and I'm 19. We work in different parts of the company, so we don't really "work" together. We talk every now and then, but it's only chit chat. I don't really know how to approach her because I don't know how she would react. I flirt with her every once in a while, or compliment her on her dress (she dresses very well), and, although she hasn't complimented me directly, she has sent a few signals.

I don't want to come off too strong, but I'm not sure how to ask her.

This is exactly what Im afraid of.
I really like this guy whos younger than me. Im 18, hes 16.
We flirt alot and we're just getting warmer and warmer everyday.
But I feel like he's only limited to go so far because I'm older and I feel like hes a little be intimidated!!
If there are signs, go for it.
Girls are ALWAYS flattered even if an ugly guy likes her (not calling you ugly or anything)
Dont be like "DATE ME NOW"
but like ask her out to a casual lunch.
afterwards, find a common hobby and find an activity you can do together. For example: if she likes broadways, get tickets and be like would you like to go with me?

It is tough being under 21 and shooting for the older woman. You are limited on your places to take her,and cannot legally have a drink. Most mid twenty women dont want to be bothered by a man under 21.Maybe you are the exception.Just wait until you turn 25,you will have all the hot horny 30-45 year old ladies wanting you.

The next time you compliment her dress, throw in an invitation to lunch or coffee or something lite like that...if she says yes, then you are in...then work your total charm!!! Good luck!!

Mmm - older women! ;-)

Play a slow game. Keep doing what you're doing.

When you're comfortable and she's comfortable - invite her to something you're both comfortable with ... a wine tasting thingy or something classy like that.

However - she's a co-worker. It can make things very tricky if you go for the office romance thing.

I've been told: "Don't get your meat where you get your bread."

Well, it's not a good idea to get involved at work. It will only lead to a misunderstanding with bad feelings for everyone involved. Sorry, but that's my opinion.
