Evaporated milk is Finely boiled milk which then gets thickened and is used in recipes spl for making sweets in India.
One recipe for u : Take 1ltr milk boil it on low flame till it becomes half ,keep stirring it in between and all the cream which comes while boiling stir that also. Now take raw rice 50gms coke it till half done. Add this rice to the milk and cook nicely add sugar to taste. Its like Porridge and healthy too.
In India its called `KHEER'
I will not suggest the condense milk for cats.

Evaporated milk is regular milk that has gone through a special heating process to make it shelf-stable. It loses 60% of its water and as a result is much richer and creamier than regular milk. Evaporated milk can be used in place of regular milk in most, if not all circumstances, but regular milk should not be used if a recipe calls specifically for evaprorated.
Cats (Most cats) LOVE it, but any milk product is very rough on thier little systems, they're not built to drink cow milk really, because they can't break down the proteins the right way. A small amount won't do anything really bad, but don't be suprised if they drink too much and have upset tummys and don't seem to feel good for a few hours.
Hope that helps! ^_^

Evaporated milk has had half of the water removed, so it's doubly concentrated. It works well in recipes because it gives a richness w/o too much fat.
Cats probably like it, but I'd dilute it for them.

Evaporated milk is a shelf-stable canned milk product with about 60% of the water removed from fresh milk. In the U.S., it is not sweetened. In Malaysia it is sweetened. It differs from condensed milk which contains sugar. ...

Evaporated milk is used in recipes, and also for drinking when fresh milk isn't available. (It has a long shelf life.)
Cats might like it -but don't give it to them - they're lactose intolerant and will get gas and diarrhea (and probably puke too.)
