Nikon lenses cannot be beat by Bushnell. I have hunted with Bushnell many times and they are good, but I have taken the Nikon and compared it with my friends Bushnell and we would have stopped hunting a full 30 minutes earlier with the Bushnell than we would have with the Nikon.

This year I am using Nikon binoculars and I can see animals in my area at least 20 minutes before I can see them with my eyes or my scope. It just shows me that you get what you pay for.

Obviously, Nikon's name is more well known all around. But really, it is all up to you, which one you prefer. For instance, I am fixin' to purchase a Bushnell range finder because the one I want feels the best to me. I also like the price compared to a Nikon. But I am also going to get a Nikon scope for my 30.06. I feel that the one I have picked out has more clarity to it. So, before you decide which one, compare the two(or other brands like Leupold) because you may like one product of a certain brand and another product made by a different brand. Good huntin friend

Bushnell Scopes beginning with the 4200 and up are really good.
Nikon Scopes starting with the Monarch are really good.
Less than the above gets a fair to poor rating in my experience.
Look at a Konus Pro for the best value for under $200.00
Go to www.nealsoutdoors.com and look under optics. They also have a knowledge section that will tell you things about scopes.
