If you're saying the employee is claiming Married, with Zero dependents:

the following information is based on a weekly gross of $750

Federal tax: 74.66
SS tax: 46.50
Medicare: 10.88
NJ State Tax : 13.08
SUI/SDi: 6.94

for a net check of: $597.54

Tips are added to the hourly wage, taxes are calculated, then the tips are backed out of the paycheck since the person already got their tips.

By far the easiest way is to go to this website: http://www.paycheckcity.com

You select your state and plug in the numbers and it will spit back what you should see on your pay stub. I've run the numbers many times and there always within a penny or to of what my check stub says.
