There is no definite answer to this question. You will have to define the meaning yourself. The meaning of life differs for every individual. Some strive to be rich, some strive to be famous, some strive to live longer.
Some people spend their whole finding meaning to life and never figure out anything even till their deaths.
But God tells us everything you need to know about life.

Well, I think that life was once meant for livening when Adam and Eve where created but ever since they ate from the tree of knowledge they brought sin into the world. So life is all a big test to see if you can find the right path.

Someone is my Bio class asked this question, and the teacher said the answer was to reproduce so that the species lived on. I suppose that's the technical answer.
The better answer, to mind mind, is to achieve your personal goals and live life to the best of your ability. If you want to find true love, getting it would be the meaning of your life. If all you wanted was to be famous, that'd be your meaning.
My point is that it's different for everyone, though the broad answer is to obtain happiness. That seems to be found in love and understanding of others and others in you, for the most part. Ah, cheesiness. Got to love it.
