Like natural, picked from the ground, tied with a rubberband, not put in a can carrots?! technically... not EXPIRE. but they can get rancid. This usually happens when they get this gooey slime on them, or if you've waited WAY too long, they go limp.

only if they begin to rot no they don't have an expiration date they will rot and become unusable,

open coding has been around for quite some time so if it doesn't have one then throw out. and as always. when in doubt throw out.
