Does a success relationship need commitment?

my friend beleives that, if someone is special to you, then commitment isnt needed in a relationship. But I dont think there really is a relationship without the commitment.

its not a relationship if your not committed to somebody in the relationship...just like if you dont have commucation with that person and/or if you dont trust that person it doesnt make a relationship. you need all of that in-order for your relationship to make it.
