In most states, since a lot of people who go to las vegas doesn't really live there, but in most states, yes, you do, really any money that you win, you have to claim it on their state taxes.

That would be up to their home state but in virtually all cases that income is fully taxable at both the Federal and State levels. The only bye on it would be if you lived in a state that does not have an income tax. However if you were gambling in a state with an income tax you may possibly owe income taxes to that state even if your home state does not levy one.

Yes they do. Even if you win money on a scratch-off state lottery ticket, you have to claim it as income for federal taxes - most states don't charge state income tax on their own lotteries though..
