That's the question the whole world is asking.

2007-12-04 12:55:05 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 7

This question is like the three blind men who walked up upon an elephant. The first man grabbed his tail and said that he had discovered a rope. The second blind man pushed on the elephant's leg and claimed he had come upon a tree. The third blind man felt the smooth sharp tusk of the elephant claiming that he had found a spear. While each man's conclusion was right based on what they had experienced, they had failed to examine the whole. How can anyone describe the whole until they have learned the total of the parts? Which is exactly what most people have done with the War on Terror. While Iraq was not directly responsible for 9/11, they (Saddam Hussein) was part of the total.

We didn't invade Iraq because al-quada attacked the US.

We invaded Afghanistan because al quada attacked the US.

Why do you expect the US to only have a single interest ?

You just don't get it, do you? A huge segment of the islamic world has sworn to kill as many 'infidels' as they can. They have sworn to take over this planet in the name of allah. Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and some 41 other countries are islamic. Are you comfortable knowing that there are untold millions of people out there devoted to your death? Regardless of the reasons given, the devastation of Iraq and Afghanistan has been the first step in the right direction --- the total and absolute annihilation of the islamic world.

Okay, Ollie, we've all heard the bumper sticker, country-western song lyric answers, but you still haven't answered the question. And "all the intel" on Saddam was coming from rock-solid sources like convicted conman Ahmed Chalabi and the ever-popular Curveball, who was recognized immediately by the Germans as a drunken fabricator and shown the door.

Saddam did NOT attack us on 9/11--that's a fact that even you in the twenty percent crowd have to admit by now. Saddam wouldn't even let Al Qaeda pitch a tent in Iraq. He was, in fact, on bin Laden's enemy list. So if Al Qaeda attacked us then why did we invade Iraq??

If you don't know by now....then you are just a dumba** Democrat that hates Bush and no matter how much proof you are given you won't believe it anyway.

Stop listening to CNN or those other one-sided news stations. That would be a good start in learning what is going on and why it is happening. Then you won't need to ask any stupid questions.

I get so tired of this question.

All our Intel said that Saddam was producing WMD.

Most all the world agreed that he was hiding this fact.

The UN didn't have the guts to stop him and they didn't want to blow their fat illegal profits off the oil for food program.

Bush had the guts to go in after him. And stop the programs.

To enforce UN Resolutions. Which is unconstitutional. There never was a claim that Iraq was involved. It just happened to be in the general area as afghanastan and logistics is a major cost of war...so we must have figured...what the hell...
