"Get you down" is an English idiom meaning to
make someone feel bad.
So I would render the sentence as
No dejes que los cabrones te pongan en miserÃa.
CabrÃ³n is the usual word for "bastard".
This is actually a famous saying in Latin:
Illegitimi tatum non carborundum.
