An employer can fire an employee at any time whether one is clean or not. The only question to ask " Is discrimination involved?" If so, you may have a case to argue.

It depends on the state you are working in. In some states you can be let go for no reason at all. Other states allow you to appeal any decision made by your employer and in a lot of cases they are rehired. Check with your local Attorney General he will be able to inform you of your rights. good luck

Many states are "at-will" which means they can fire you for any reason at any time...depends on where you live, but even though there may not be an apparent reason for you to see on the surface, there is always one from them if you can find out what it is.
