Sounds like the Grinch that stole Christmas! I would round up a bunch of local "Elves"- & have them "set up shop" outside Of Myers with Picket Signs saying, "Here lives Scrooge- the Humbug!" :)

It's a beat-up. It never happened. The "ho ho ho" suggestion was a bit of a giggle by a radio program that was taken seriously by News Limited reporters and they came up with the original ridiculous story. This Santa was sacked for inappropriate behaviour which had nothing to do with saying "ho ho ho" or singing Christmas carols. Most Santas sacked for "inappropriate behaviour" have usually had too much Christmas cheer at lunchtime.
Don't believe everything you read in the papers and this time you certainly shouldn't. "Ho ho ho" is not derogatory to women and never has been in Australia. As I said, it's a media beat-up, ignore it.

Typical of "suit" behaviour. They might lose one customer if the customer is stupid enough to mistake "ho ho ho" for some flagrant Americanism. When challenged, out pops the corporate lie about the employee's "attitude". When this is challenged, they change their story. Meanwhile the employee is blacklisted.
The same sort of thing was going on in the USA a few years ago over Christmas trees and the use of the word "Christmas".

I don't know what the world is coming to. How ridiculous . A tradition just wiped for some morons reasoning. I believe it stems from prostitutes being called ho s in America. We need all the customers of this Myers to go around shouting Ho ho ho in this store.

All this political correctness has gone through the roof. The pendalum must start swinging back soon.
Just so not to be seen to offend the vocal minority these 'head-in-sand' decision makers are offending the silent majority. It's about time the majority started making a bit more noise!
But then again, having said that, "we" voted the ALP into power - & their left wing policies will only make things worse in this regard.

I agree it has gone too far. What woman would be offended by her local santa saying this? Certainly not me. It's a shame about many other things too, such as black boys (GRASS TREES), Play School showing two women picking their daughter up from school and the show called Noddy (where Golliwog was always doing bad things, and he was black) which got canned.
