To start, accepting help and healing is not holiness. Holiness means to be of complete moral perfection. Only God is holy. In reference to man to be holy is to be set apart for God's purpose. Through God's power we are made holy through sanctification. Not by our own power. To understand this you must first be saved.

Let ask you this: Have you kept God's commandments? Ever told a lie, look at someone with lust, stolen, disobeyed your parents. The bible says if we break just one of the commandments we have broken them all. (James 2:10) If you are judged by God's law will you be found innocent or guilty? The bible says no one does good. (Romans 3:12) Hell is God's place of punishment for those who have broken God's law (sinned) (Romans 6:23). You can not save yourself from this punishment but Jesus Christ took your place in the court room and died in your place. (Matthew 1:21) Only through repentance (turning from your sins and tunning to God) and placing your complete faith in Christ to save you can you enter heaven. (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3)
Once you have done this you will receive the Holy Spirit who will guide you and draw you near to God.(Romans 5:5) This will begin the process of sanctification which leads back to your question. Study these verses for the understanding of what help you be holy. The short answer to your question is the Holy Spirit.

"But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Thessalonians 2:12-14

"You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. "
Romans 6:18-20

"so that no one may boast before him (God). It is because of him (God) that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
1 Corinthians 1:29-31

and finally,

"Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness."
Hebrews 12:10

God is holy. It does not just mean sinless, altough it includes that. We need to be more like him, agressively good, so we will not slip into our old sinful ways.

The bible says "Be ye perfect", and "Be holy", but we cannot possibly do this, in our human strength!

We need to let His Holy Spirit lead us, and fill our heart with His goodness and love. With the Spirit`s help, we can come closer to our goal of being more like Him.

Holiness is being more like Him, although we will not be perfect until we get to heaven. There are no perfect men, just perfect intentions.

Fortunately God judges the heart! He now our thoughts, and yet he loves us more than we are capable of loving! All glory to God! we have nothing without Him!!!

THE NON-BASIC VOW….Beloved friends, voyeurs, jealous associates, and anyone else who has stumbled in on this ceremony thinking they were just going to quaff a few brews, we are here today, to witness the binding of these two people, (names of two to be wedded) in the holy institution of marriage.
First off, do you, (name couple), swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you "(name)?" Say YES now, or else this whole thing is rather pointless.
(PERSON ANSWERS: YES)
Okay. Put your hands on each other. This is a bond of Subholy wedlock, so no matter what physical positions these two may take for the rest of their lives, their moral standing shall remain upright. If there are any jealous losers here who feel that these two should not be joined...just shut your trap, because we don't want to hear about it. Allright. (name couple), put your hands on each other and hold tight. Before we proceed, has the preacher been paid
Do you, (name), take this (name), to be your lawful wedded spouse, in SubGenius and legal matrimony, to have and to hold, in fact to do just about anything mutually agreed to, for richer and poorer, in sickness and in kinkiness, through any hardship or any disaster that may befall you two, for whatever sick and twisted but no less blessed reasons until death do you part? SAY I DO!
(PERSON ANSWERS: I DO)

God is Holy. Man is not.

The purpose of man is not to attain holiness or perfection.

The purpose of man is to surrender and give up and ask God to provide the way since it is impossible for man to find the way himself.

Living for god and glorifying him in those actions helps you be holy. You should put God before yourself and others before yourself. Basically, do not be selfish. Help others as you would like to be helped in their situation. Forgive others and accept appologies from other people. Be holy as your heavenly father is holy.
