Because they do NOT know the word of God. If so, they would see that we arent passing judgment on them, and that we love them enough to tell them Gods truths, But it Gods plan we point them too, and of the hell they face if they accept Jesus as their saviour and obey Him as well.
Its not our judgment, its the judgment of God we are to warn them about, as we also tell them in love of Gods perfect and wonderful plan for their life.
WE can only keep living the truth, speaking the truth, and then praying for them all, asking God to give them a new heart and mind to KNOW, and recieve Him.
God bless you for the question. I pray more will understand why we as Christians will always try to tell them, as we love them, so does God and we ALL want everyone saved.
To God be the Glory. Jesus is the only way. He saves, and He shows us how to live a life free from sin, as we walk in the Spirit of God.

Noota Oolah said it very well. And I agree with her - I think that we need to temper what we say with HOW we say it.
For instance, if someone asks, the question, "Am I going to hell" - Sure we can find scriptures to support this stance, which only proves that there are scriptures to support this. If the person doesn't consider the Bible a factual resource, quoting the scripture may not be effective, because they don't believe the validity of the source. (Kind of like hearing answers from two different people, one you might believe because you trust the source and the other you might not believe because you don't trust the source).

Noota Oolah pronounced it o.k.. and that i agree together with her - i think of that we ought to temper what we are saying with HOW we are saying it. working example, if somebody asks, the question, "Am I going to hell" - confident we are able to locate scriptures to help this stance, which only proves that there are scriptures to help this. If the guy does not evaluate the Bible a authentic source, quoting the scripture won't be useful, by means of fact they have not got faith the validity of the source. (style of like listening to solutions from 2 diverse human beings, one you have faith considering the fact which you believe the source and the different you will possibly no longer have faith considering the fact which you do no longer believe the source).

Because they are affraid, insecure, and do not want to hear that they may be held accountable someday. It can be a very scarry thing. That would account for all the rabid anger and Christaphobia that you constanty see on these posts. If there is someone reading that fits my description. It's OK you can always to God. I have not always done the right things in my life, but I never took sides against God.

well for starters ill say great question, and people say they have there own opinion but we as a Christian should shut up, they can say it is not wrong to kill babies , why cant we say it is.
and another thing , if i tell someone they are going to hell, did that send them there?
no i didn't think so, see that's not judging, judging is sentencing someone for a crime . such as murder, and the judge says 20 years, that's judgment, telling someone there a liar don't make it so, or i would be, they have told me that many times,
we as Christians must judge between all things , what is right and wrong , if they don't want to hear ,,let them close there ears
love and prayers

The Quran says that the Quran is the word of God, the Rig Veda says that the Rig Veda is the word of the infinite, and I'm pretty sure that most religious books say that they are the word of God. Which ones would you like me to quote back to you, because you can obviously justify it as being the word of God if it says that is the word of God? Oh, all of them say that writings other than themselves are false. Do you understand the point I'm making yet?

The reason I feel like I am being judged when people start quoting the bible to me is not due to the bible quote but the frequently used pompous and pious attitude that come with it.

Good point. This truth even applies when the word of God is spoken by hypocrites. For Jesus said, "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach."

Thats because there is some strange feeling inside me that gets violently angry at hearing the words from this book, I dont know why. So I feel I am to project that anger on to the person reading them at me. I don't know why I feel this way, its strange. All atheist I know speak privately to me and have mentioned that they feel this unusual feeling also. Somehow I know your not being judgmental but just cannot help but accuse you of it. I think maybe we are evil and immoral

Because you lie. You say you don't judge us the bible does. So you let the bible do your judging for you? Simply put, you're a liar.
