I make a basic balsamic and olive oil salad dressing and then when I put it in the fridge it turns gloppy.

Is this normal?

if you nuke it at 10 second intervals the oil will melt!!!

Yes -- it's probably the oil solidifying. Try heating it to room temperature or zap it in the microwave for 20 - 30 sec.

yes it happens when the oil gets cold. before you use it take it out of the fridge for a little while and just whisk it again. that should bring it back to regular consistency.

the oil in your dressig is trying to freeze, add a little water to it when you are making it and this will happen a lot less

Yep - leave it sit out for a few minutes...shake it and you're back in business...
