Is it considered rude if someone makes gestures shaking their head after having a conversation with you?

I know people that do that and it seems so disrepectful. Some people do it right in front of me as if they don't know they are doing it.And some do it walking away,and may not even know I saw him.

A realitive does it alot I don't think she realizes she does it ,and It wasn't because of something I said , but what somebody else said (in our standing circle) .I have brought it to her attention , that it may make the other person feel bad ,but she still does it.
Tonight it was done by a neighbor that I don't know very well.I don't know what his problem was .Saw him at the store.Regardless to me what ever the reason I think it is very ugly of them.

they are basically disagreeing with you... it would especially piss me off to see them walk away and shake their head, like your nuts or something..... pet peeve alert!!! totally with ya on that one!!!

What? Er, no, not really. Especially if they don't know they're doing it!

If you have a lot of people do this after or while speaking with you, maybe you are confusing or hard to understand. Slow down and think about what you are saying and whether it makes sense!
