My friend is also on a pill like that. I don't know if water would do the trick because it would put on water weight. Water would help better than if you drank soda or sugarry drinks. At your age you don't want to go on a diet like Jenny Craig or Atkins. So try limiting your junk food, and lowering the amount of food you eat. The other thing I would do is just plain old-fashioned exercise. Try running a lap at the track at your school once a day or riding your bike a mile each day. Good Luck!!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

never mind all the smart *** comments --
drinking water will help but you should actually be drinking 64 to 80 ounces a day --- especially with your medication
I am sorry to say that any shorts cuts WILL have a reaction with your meds - either chemically or via the way your bodies chemistry reacts to the change in dietary intake
I am bipolar and have recently lost 85 lbs -- the reaction at first was extreme I was sent into a mania and then a quick nose dive into depression -- not fun in anyway -- I know now that there are things I could have done differently to avoid the episodes create by the sudden changes.
Please take to your doctor or counselor before trying anything. The last thing you want is any kind of extreme episode.
good luck

If you want to lose weight drinking plenty of water and limiting your rice to one cup only per meal, then refraining from drinking juice, soft drinks, ice cream, cakes and cookies, eating snacks will help reduce your weight.
But mind you it takes a lot of self discipline at the start. After two to three months, everything comes easy.
And by that time you should be down by at least five pounds.

"3 bottles" means nothing to me. And drinking water alone (while continuing to overeat) will not reduce your weight.
Here are the magic pills for weight loss.
Eat less
Move your butt more
Drink the proper amount of water - generally 8, 8 oz glasses or until your urine is nearly clear and odorless.
Drinking the correct amount of water will flush fat and toxins from your system, equivalent to a 20 minute work out. But if you don't eat less, eat better and exercise, it will not magically make you lose weight.

i think it's all been said here already. but just to reiterate. drinking water can help facilitate weight loss tremendously. drinking 8-12 cups of pure water per day with help quell your hunger pains, flush out toxins, aid in the digestion process and even lead to a healthier clearer complexion! BONUS!

Water alone will not cause you to lose weight. Start eating healthier, get in some exercise. The only equation that equals weight loss is less calories in while more calories are used. I do understand your frustration. I take two meds whose side effects are weight gain. Its a biotch.

Exercise and a nutritious diet are the key here. Water helps and better when colder because the body must burn calories to warm it back to your temperature. The key is to stay active to compensate your appetite. Eat lots of fruit, vegetables and lean meats or fish. Less carbs and fat. Ride your bike, skateboard, or walk/run around. Good luck!

i don't think drinking lots of water will help you lose weight casue water wieght adds on so the more water the more u weigh when you get on that scale, but if you drink water and maybe run or something to sweat excess water out it may help stimulate it
