I was watching Jeopardy and Categories about Paleontology, Evolution, and Astronomy were on both boards. Many answers referred to an Earth many Billions of years old, the common ancestry of humans and their ape cousins, and the Big Bang. Since this is show that is highly regarded and its answers are well researched and documented, I was wondering if you thought it blasphemous and if you allow your children to watch it?

lol. Most fundies aren't that stupid. IF they are, they think TV is blasphemy and don't have them anyway.

You are asuming that the fundies are actually watching TV. most aer out preaching, harassing non-believers , and brain washing others. They don't have time for TV. except for on sunday morning.

Not really any difference in us letting our children watch Jeopardy than your parents letting you on Y/A where there is a religious section.

Honey, when my son was living, he watched whatever he chose to watch. He was raised in a Christian home and his values were exemplary, as were his choices of entertainment.

God bless!

they would hear the same thing in school. doesn't mean I'm going to pull em out of school.

it's very good to be educated. I'm not going to take that away from them just because i don't believe in something.

We need to agree on a definition of blasphemy. I'm guessing we don't.
