Jehovah's Witnesses?

Question

Just wondering if anyone knows where and when the 2009 International Convention is, someone told me they think it is either Mexico or Brazil.

Also, which city in which country?

As of December 2007, Jehovah's Witnesses have not announced the dates of their 2009 International Conventions (or their 2008 District Conventions, for that matter).

For North America, Mexico is the only designated "host country" of the 2009 International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. For the most part, each continent will have one or two host countries.


During 2007, Jehovah's Witnesses arranged for literally THOUSANDS of conventions worldwide, presenting the theme "Follow the Christ". Even just in the United States, hundreds of conventions were scheduled:

During 2006, more than 2.3 million attended Jehovah's Witness conventions in the United States, meaning that active Jehovah's Witnesses made up less than half of that attendance.

There are conventions in various places. If you are a witness, teh best thing would be to look on the information board or ask one of the elders.

did you notice it has been many many years since the memorial fell on Saturday. That was called a special sabath.
He died on a special sabath.
Am I right? Maybe that would be if it fell on friday since they count from sundown to sundown? help me out here, is it a special sabath?
