In my own humble opinion, no there isn't. We have ourselves and each other. Whatever else you believe in, you are welcome to and I hope it brings you comfort. As for me, I have myself and those around me, and that will suffice. Have a wonderful day.

God is not just a friend. He is also God, our Father, our shelter and refuge. He is a faithful God and He did saw you through your miraculous healing. But just seeing God as a miraculous Healer is not enough. You cannot expect Him to heal you everytime. That is not what God wants you to understand about Him only. There are many sides to Him as well. He loves all His children and He has a job for each and every one of them. He wants you to share this good news with everyone you know. So, have you already done so?
Since you already know about tests and tribulations, and don't want to hear it anymore, then I'll skip it.
But from what I read about your text, it seems that you are looking more for a physical encounter with God.
God is not invisible, He is everywhere. But if you are looking for a physical contact, then you probably will find it very tiring.
I used to look for physical signs, physical "feelings" of God's existence. Then you will realise relationship with God is more than just "feeling" God. That is just one school to religion - charismatic movement. Perhaps you should join the charismatic church then.
It is your faith that will draw God near to you.
Have you been praying?
Have you been going to church regularly to meet up with other Christians?
You will see that when God sees that you have every good faith to trust in Him in good times or bad, He will reveal Himself more to you.
God bless.

Okay. Won't talk about Job, anything from the Bible, and whatnot. Just here to tell you to hang on. I'm still deciding which I really want more: to slap you in the face and wake you up or to just sit there with you quietly and be there.
I sense a lot of bitterness. And I know it sounds cliched and probably won't work, but it's the only thing i can say: Hope in God.

I feel so bad for those who post on here and say that "I have what I have, and that all I need" or something to that effect. Worldly things are not going to matter my friends when judgment day comes. If you do not have the blood of Jesus Christ covering the sins that you have committed and you have not laid your sins and sorrows upon him, you will be cast into hell. Then what, you will have nothing but eternal damnation. It is like I always say, If God is not real, what have I wasted of my life? Hours reading the bible, praying, going to church, trying to live right? I have lost nothing. But, if he is real, what have you lost, everything. Just think about that before you completely depend on your worldly things because when this world passes away, my friends, it is a whole new ballgame!

Read the story of Joni Tada -- it's very inspirational. I too suffer from a chronic medical condition. I've actually become stronger in my faith as a result, so I hope you hang in there! Please get some books or better even, workbooks by Max Lucado. They are wonderful and inspirational.

God does not test anyone with evil, yet killing your wife and kids thats not evil at all, not even if it was to win a bet. Sorry man that you were let down, I have a friend who was devout believe and his three month old sister died of cancer, no cancer isn't evil it's an illness. Your wrong cancer is evil, god gave us cancer therefor god tries us with evil.

Not sure what you are asking due to the double negative......but as far as answer to prayer goes......sometimes the answer is "Yes", sometimes "Wait," and sometimes just plain "No."
