6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

What's love got to with it?

Pure Love IS God whether it is in a marriage or friendship. This is why the Church makes marriage a Sacrament - and the couple strive to keep it pure and untainted. God can work in and through a marriage that is pure love and the children will also be born out of love - from God. Sad to say, there is not much sanctity in relationships and marriages these days, but I think God is working at bringing it back into the family. How? By chastising us for our sins both in the world and church eventually putting morals and virtues back in place as they should be. We have been too self-centered instead of thinking of "other" - especially their souls.....

Love is an evolutionary attribute, and a result of complex electrochemical reactions within the brain.
Psychological studies show that it is a necessary attribute for keeping partners together so to ensure the successful weaning of the offspring.

Love is a form of desire. The desire to hope for the best, to have the best times, to put another as more important to yourself. It's spontaneous in action, giving perhaps too much, but always forgiving. Love keeps a person devoted, and keeps nothing for itself. Love starts the highest form of relationships, and keeps it.

well if you are talking about boyfriend girlfriend....love is when you will do anything for the other person...when you feel like you could spend the rest of your life with them... when they go broke and have absolutely no money...you will still want to be with them...when they dont mind waiting until you get married before the make any "sexual" moves on you...now that is love...

I'm a non-believer, I'm in your question and I'm answering.

Saying "So and so needs to stay out!" doesn't put a magical barrier around your question that keeps people out.

Love, like all human emotion, is caused by chemical reactions in the brain.

There is a chemical they can inject directly into ones brain that stimulates a feeling of love more powerful than naturally occurring, and it lasts FOREVER yep forever

This question makes no sense. I'm a believer in Eros, so I think I'm capable of answering this question, if indeed there was a question to answer. But because the question doesn't make any sense, I'm choosing not to answer it.

Non religious or non christian?

Love is caring so much for someone else that their needs, their happiness are more important than your own.
