I started coming to R&S to clear some of the misconseption of Islam, and here i am, i find my self trying to clear up the misconception about Shia that some of my sunni brothers have, this is a sad day for me.

I know of over six ID's that are not Muslims, they pretend to be so they can cause fitna, but that i do not mind trolls you cannot control them right?. What does bother is bothers and sisters who i know as genuine Muslims i have known and respected for a long time i have known them since i have been on for over a year they seem to agree with them or keep quite about it.......... i am truly sad from the bottom of my heart.

Muslims do not let satan trick you, Allah warns us in the Qur'an when he says:

And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them (c8:v49)

And those who believe and do righteous deeds - them shall We, surely, house in lofty mansions of Paradise, beneath which streams flow. They will abide therein. Excellent is the reward of those who labour for good, (Qur'an)

Now when you read the above verse do you really think that what you say about your brothers and sisters in Islam without knowledge? Allah is going to let you in this paradise? fear allah and do not be like the jews and the christians Allah says:

And they say. 'None shall ever enter Heaven unless he be a Jew or a Christian.' These are their vain desires. Say, 'Produce your proof, if you are truthful.(Qur'an)

I could easily add in the above verse Shia or Sunni instead of Christian and Jew don't you agree? Wake up Muslims and ponder over the Qur'an, If you truly are followers of Islam, and if you truly Love Allah and Love the Messenger of Allah as you claim you do and i know you do, YOU will unite, +Islam is all about Tawheed.

A gift from me to you from your shia brother who is sunni click please:

Right after I became Muslim, I read a hadith that said that the Prophet salallahu alaihi wa salaam said that if one makes salat like a Muslim, and eats halal like a Muslim, that one IS a muslim, so I do not say "They aren't really Muslim" about Shia, or even Ahmahdiya. To me, the Ummah is a world-wide family, and like a family, we will not all always get along or agree on every issue, and without a Caliphate, it is even more difficult, but we should all remember that we are family, and that there are alot of people out there who want us all dead, Shia, Sunni, and any other Muslim, so we should not weaken ourselves by infighting, we only help the enemies of Allah subha'ana wa ta'ala when we do that.

This is very cool. We are all Muslims regardless of our sects, I don't believe in sects.. and Allah سبحانه و تعالى ordered us not to judge people.

Allah ordered us to be kind to any religious group as long as "they did not fight us or occupy our homes".. Imagine! ANY RELIGIOUS GROUP.. So, how about our brothers of Sunnis and Shias?

May Allah bless you and guide all; Amen.

I agree with you from the lebanon. I am Sunni and in my family, if I say something bad about the shiaa, I may get my tounge cutt. So many members of my family are married to shiaa and my grandmother is also shiaa from a village called Silaa (in south of lebanon if you know it). We appreciate the Shiaa although I strongly disagree with what they did to the Palestinians in Iraq but respect is respect. We are all muslims.

Salaam

The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H & H.F) left among us the two most weighty things (al-Thaqalain) i.e. Quran and the Imams of Ahlul-Bayt. If everybody will follow them according to the hadith of Prophet (P.B.U.H & H.F) he will go never astray.

none of this would'v happend of none of us called ourselves by "sunni" or "shia" but instead use the term that Allah s.w.t has given to us, "muslim"

i ask you, what was prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? was he a sunni? was he a shia? a wahabi? no he was a muslim, so let us ALL BE muslims, and not shia or sunni

I am not Muslim myself but I am very glad that there are people trying to create understanding between Shia and Sunni. I applaud you for this. I thank you.

A very sensible question in a hate filled world.

May you have peace, light, love and strength in your quest.
