if it's been 3 years and you haven't even spoken to him, then i expect he's moved on. and you should too, don't let him hold you back. i know it's hard, but you can't keep hurting yourself because of something that you regret doing 3 years ago. good luck! =)

tell him how you really feel. you've been apart for 3 years so if he says he cant be with you then you dont really lose anything, if he says okay then you win. kinda like a win/win situation but if he says no, you may be devistated.
