If you know anything about history, you would know that Jesus was a brown color much like the Iraqis we are killing today. no matter what you say, history proves that Jesus was not white. if you dont believe me, i will post proof later.

the only reason i bring it up is because i have had people who truelly do not accept his race because they believe that race is inferior. the modern view of Jesus nowadays were gradually morphed by the europeans. and it stuck because they didnt want to accept that the people they liked to enslave looked like their savior. plus, passion of the christ shows him as white.

Jesus was whatever the jews of that day were, a middle easterner. The idea of white comes from european paintings, painting Jesus like them. There are oriental paintings and latin american ones that do the same thing of painting Him like themselves. By best guess is that he was an olive tone, and not white or black.

1. Why would I think that Jesus was white? I have never met anyone who thought that Jesus was white.
2. I'm not killing any Iraqis. I have been an outspoken opponent of the war from the beginning.
3. What's your point?
Incidentally, all the "old pictures" that portray Jesus as white are from the last 100 years or so. Medieval and Renaissance icons depicted Jesus as any other Mediterranean person, and before that he was consistently portrayed as Middle-Eastern, with dark skin and dark hair. The oldest Christian icons depicted him as a typically Roman man, beardless and with short hair.

Iraqis aren't "brown". Do you really define race by color, or by actual race? Most Iraqis are Arab; some of the minorities include Chaldeans, Assyrians, Kurds, and Persians, among others. Any one of those races can have members whose skin color is anywhere from dark brown to pale whitish. Jesus was Hebrew, not Arab. Hebrews, like any other race living in Mesopotamia, could be just about any color, depending on their family heredity. No one knows the specific hue of Jesus' skin and frankly it's irrelevant anyway.

Um, I can't imagine any Christian who has read the Bible thinking Jesus was white. Although, now that you mention it, all the old Catholic paintings of Jesus show Him as a white guy....funny I never noticed it until just now. Weird, and stupid. A man with full Jewish blood like Jesus had would likely have been dark-haired, dark-eyed, and olive-skinned. Not white.

in case you advise White as in Indo-eu, then No. Jesus is a Jew, Jews look like each thing. So if he replace into White, then it replace right into a easy skinned Jew, no longer a easy skinned eu. maximum folk from Al-sham(Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel/palestin) look White. yet are Semites, no longer Indo-eu. I ought to upload that the e book of Mormon purely mentions White people(as in eu Whites) some situations whether this is the Greeks and this is purely some imprecise pointing out of them in First Nephi. different than that the e book of Mormon is especially approximately 2 Jewish households residing in the Americas with community individuals reported a handful of situations,.

Jesus was a Jew. When was the last time you've heard of a black, asian, hispanic, etc Jew? No one was around now when Jesus was alive so there's no proof. I'm not saying for certain he was whit but look at Jewish people today. Hmm.
