Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Fifteen years ago I went to a spanish school in Mexico and most of the students were from Japan. They were getting a short intensive course and then being sent to Costo Rico to work in their peace corp. Knowing a second language should be a real plus in the business world.

It depends on were you are...If you, like me, live in the Southwest, Spanish is a pragmatic choice. I took French to go against the status quo (and what my dad suggested), and found I loved it. My junior year, I took Spanish in addition to my French, and found many similarities. I am still able to read most Spanish texts, though my speaking ability has degenerated. I haven't had the opportunity to take German here in high school, though I plan to take it. The advantages of German is that English is a Germanic language.
Spanish: most common language of your choices, especially in the U.S.
French: more scholarly students tend to take it, so you won't have a lot of idiots in your class; it's the official laguage of the U.N.
Both: Latin based, will help understanding in medical terms, or almost any jargon for that matter
German: English links, sounds cool, hardcore class...idiots and preps beware!

French, I take it at my school, its fun, but depending on your teacher it can be boring. However I really took it because everyone else always takes Spanish and I wanted to take something different. Also, French is one of the top most spoken languages in the world, therefore you are more likely to use it than pare say, Latin like other students in my school. And German I dont take but some of my friends said its okay but I myself dont think I can put the deep emphasis on the words of that language. However, whatever suites you you should take.

I think that it depends on where you plan on being in the future. Spanish is more useful in the Americas while French is more beneficial for use in Europe. The two languages are pretty similar. I wouldn't recommend German, though.
And, most of all, don't let anyone pressure you into choosing any particular one. Choose the one that you WANT to take and don't let anyone else influence you. (: Good luck.

Ease of learning = Spanish but it will not be very useful in business as so many other people speak it and also speak English to a high standard.
Good for business - German as the economies of the German-speaking countries is very strong, not many people speak German outside of Germany but it is difficult to learn.
I wouldn't bother with French at all. Practically useless and very difficult.

Spanish-- I took french and have totally forgotten it, never used it... and I can think of a few times where spanish would have been handy to know.

Spanish. Many jobs in our own country (the U.S.) require it, as does our government for a lot of positions. And if you want to travel in latin countries, you'll be able to communicate.
