Yes, you are obviously very observant.
For clarification purposes:
"Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together." = When going diving, woolen and linen garments will only weigh you down whilst thou is wet.
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." = Woman + man + lying down = abomination
Also see Corinthians 12:14, my child ....
:)
Bless you ....

Paul replaced into talking of the kings and priests who will rule in heaven with Christ for 1000 years Revelation 14th financial disaster. they don't could desire to be male or female and so forth. and so forth. The Jews have been in basic terms Gods chosen human beings for his son "Jesus Christ " again out of. This replaced into the promise God made with Abraham and King David. A kingdom that would in no way be dropped at harm. Literal Jews at the instant are not to any extent further God's chosen united states of america because of the fact Jesus has come and died for our sins. The covenant with Israel is completed. Christianity(Christ like) took over. The Jewish religious leaders have been those that had Pilate positioned Jesus to demise. Why could they be God's chosen human beings on the instant?

Among the Hebrews, most garments were either woolen or linen. A mixture of the two materials was prohibited by the Law for nonpriestly Israelite garments. Other items made from linen included belts and sails. The Israelites, although evidently manufacturing their own linen, imported some linen from Egypt.
Linen varied in quality, as is indicated by Scriptural references to “fine linen” and “fine fabric.” The wealthy, kings, and men of high governmental station wore linen of a superior quality. Jesus’ corpse was wrapped in clean, fine linen by Joseph, a rich man of Arimathea. Mt 27:57-59.
Fine twisted linen was also used in the high priest’s girdle, ephod, and breastpiece. Robes of fine linen were likewise made for the other priests. In the case of curtains and garments for use in the sanctuary, it seems that linen was the basic cloth used and that dyed wool and gold were embroidered on for decorative effect.
Figurative Usage. Because of the cleanness and purity of white linen, it is used in the Scriptures to symbolize righteousness. The garments next to the high priest’s body, namely the drawers, robe, and turban, as well as the drawers, robes, and headgears for the underpriests, were made of fine, white linen. The bride of the Lamb is arrayed in bright, clean, fine linen, for “the fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the holy ones.” (Re 19:8) The armies following Jesus Christ in heaven are represented as being clothed in white, clean, fine linen.

Apparently god gave moses and his people commandments on how to dress. Weather or not this applies to us in our day is up to the individual and his beliefs.

Edit. divers also means various not actual diving.

Pretty self explanatory. Would going nude be skanky? I don't think so and the Bible is up to interpretation so....everyone get nude quick!
