You can't do that with window movie maker. You need something that uses different video layers, like adobe premiere elements which has keyframing technology.

EDIT: In response to the poster below, you don't need a green screen to do what you're wanting to do. If you have adobe premiere elements, you put the video of you in the video 1 layer, then you put the picture of your ball on the video 2 layer, then use keyframing and position the ball the way you want it to go.

It won't help, but I'll give you an idea or two.

Greenscreening. You've seen those "making of the Matrix" and all that stuff, right? Where they film in this weird looking shade of green? (it used to be blue, but that's a different story).

The general idea is for you to hold up something of the same "size", but in a very odd color, so the computer could later take this color, and substitute other stuff for it, be it entire background, or a small object like your "ball".

However, this cannot be done in ONLY MovieMaker, as it doesn't support compositing. You'll need Premiere Elements at the minimum, probably more.
