Interesting question. I guess it's because atheists don't identify themselves by that name so much as by what they do in life. There is a history channel, and various science channels, and so on. Many of the people working in them are probably atheists, but that's not their focus. The exception may be when a science channel gets specific about evolution in order to fight back against the creationist efforts to destroy real science education in the public schools. And the History Channel has done some good work on the history of religion. I know because I buy their DVDs.

I'm impressed with my psychic ability. I was sure the first answer would be something about all the stations being atheist. Actually, any of the stations that are showing Christmas specials and movies can't be atheist since they are showing things that relate to a religion. Oh well.

Only christians subscibe to and watch the christian tv stations, they are the only ones gullible enough to believe that watching a particular channel somehow gets you a ticket to their heaven...
I personally watch a heap of tv and own cable with multiples of channels and have not managed to see a christian show, ever, so I guess all channels, bar the christian ones are atheist.

Science Channel? Discovery? Discovery Times? Discover Health? National Geographic?
Not saying that atheism is some sort of science group, but a lot of atheists do enjoy science, so...

Freedom from Religion Foundation weekly show

The Infidel Guy
All are available on I-tunes.
I agree..it sucks there are not more shows aimed at freethought and skepticism.

Atheism is not another religion. People shouldn't even really have to identify themselves as "atheists" There aren't and a-racists or a-astrologists. It is just a label.
