There is no specific BAC cut-off point of tipsy to drunk. Rather the legal driving BAC is .08. The amount of muscle mass a person has and food content in there stomach will determine how fast one gets drunk. I would say 3-4 drinks= tipsy and 7+ drinks= drunk. A drink equals either 1 shot, 1 beer, or 1 glass of wine.
