Is it okay to eat canned foods that are a couple of months past the expiration date?

i wouldnt.... canned goods are so inexpensive, why risk it???

Quite often the exp. date on canned food is for quality as opposed to health. I wouldn't eat them but it would depend on what they are as well. More info?
