Yes we can all see the joke side of this and even the country involved in putting her in prison for a week were embarrased and rightly so. Yes I appreciate different cultures and all that that exists in different countries and I am also aware you need to respect these cultures and all that. I am not British and of missed nationality but this situation took matters way too far. We are talking about a name of a teddy bear for goodness sake. The country in question should be embarrased as it is now gone public and I think this case perfectly sums up why everything in life should be in moderation including religion.
I really respect the way the British family handled the situation. Of course with all the press they could not really say what we were all thinking. I too will refrain from what I am really thinking and am pleased matters did not become even more ridiculous.

Muhammed has gone under cover, he has ceased to be called by his given name, and no one is calling him that in case he gets punished.
The children are still taking turns to take Gillian the Teddy Bear home. Gillian Gibbons wanted to stay with the children, the children know this so by naming the Teddy Bear Gillian, she can stay in spirit, and in memory.
We will not be seeing that Teddy Bear on Ebay, Gillian wants to stay in Sudan.

No, he's going to become a man-of-the-cloth, sorry, I mean a bear-of-the-cloth. He realized that he's not afraid of heights, so becoming a cleric, and being put up on a pedestal will be no problem.

I hope this answer doesn't get me kicked off (I got reported for stating how I thought a couple days ago): Yes.
There, I didn't say too much, did I? But, it's getting scary.
